Life
Seth is the son of Nut and the brother of Osiris, Isis and Nephthys. It is said that Seth murdered his brother Osiris, causing a long, violent fight with his nephew Horus over who should be the earthly ruler. Finally other gods were called to judge and they decided that Horus should rule over the living.
Imprisonment
Seth was placed in his tomb and held in place by the Amulet of Horus.
Freed from Captivity and Reimprisonment (1999)
When exploring the Tomb of Seth in 1999, Lara removes the Amulet of Horus from a sarcophagus, unaware that by doing so, she releases Seth upon the world.
To recapture Seth, Lara hatches a plan to summon Horus. To do so, she first has to collect the pieces of his armour.
Once Lara reassembles the armour inside the Temple of Horus, Seth mysteriously appears inside the temple, probably travelling in non-corporeal form, accompanied by a Swarm of Locusts - as said in the prophecy - before he assumes his God form. He destroys the armour, thus preventing Lara from summoning Horus. When the armour is destroyed, the Amulet of Horus is knocked into the surrounding water. Lara retrieves it.
At this point, Seth is invincible, and Lara escapes the temple by dodging his attacks which consist of energy missiles and beams. Once Lara climbs out of the temple, she uses the Amulet of Horus to close a trap door and seal Seth within the temple for all time.
Appearance and Powers
Seth is often depicted as a man with the head of a mysterious animal, sometimes interpreted as an anteater.
Occurrences in the Games

He also has power over the dead and the mythological creatures, and can also possess beings, like he did with Werner von Croy.
