Story

Main article: Tomb Raider II Story

After her capture aboard Marco Bartoli's sea plane, Lara is imprisoned inside a small cargo room and finds herself completely disarmed. After escaping the room, she then finds herself in a massive hangar, housing Bartoli's sea plane.

Evading several guards and a massive propeller, Lara makes her way through an underwater tunnel in the hangar and manages to enter the plane itself, whereupon she reacquires her dual pistols.

Now armed, she fights her way past the guards and continues on into the facility. Through acquiring several color coded key cards, she advances through numerous areas, finding several more weapons to augment her arsenal, including the now useful harpoon gun.

Finally, Lara enters an underwater passage and pulls a lever, opening a metal grate that allows her to emerge into the second area of the facility, the Diving Area.
