The Carved Skull is a Relic found in Lara Croft: Relic Run. It is the tenth relic that can be found in the Jungle Temple after collecting 14 clues in the 20 level. (Originally 22 clues in endless mode before version 1.5.68.)
My presence is definitely stirring up something. I can only guess Carter found more than he bargained for. He can handle himself, so this worries me.
