In the Tomb Raider's 1-5 (what is nowadays referred to as Tomb Raider Classic) there were always secrets you could search for. Alas this was not the case in Angel of Darkness. They were dearly missed by most players. Tomb Raider Legend saw a return of the secrets.

Secrets are usually hidden but some can be found in the normal path of Lara as she progresses through the level. Some secrets are concealed at the end of a secret passage, sometimes an optical illusion can prevent the player from seeing the passage easily. Some secrets are deposited in hard to reach places, and require some skill in movement and timing on behalf of the player. Some secrets can only be collected in a one off chance by the player and failure to do so will prevent them from gaining all the secrets in the game.

Below is a list of the secrets from each Tomb Raider game they appear in.
