The Prophet's Trial
The Prophet's Trial is a set of Documents in Rise of the Tomb Raider.
This set contains letters written by The Bishop and The Knight of the Order of Trinity. While the first utters doubt whether the Prophet is dead or not, the latter tries to persuade him that he himself killed the Prophet and that the man now claiming to be the Prophet is just an imposter. Nonetheless he and his "small army of faithful" relentlessly pursues the followers of the Prophet to an oasis near the city of Borea where they build a tomb. On the way there they encounter a small party of followers and slay them all but one who unknowingly shows them the way to the tomb. There the Knight and his army lay siege and are about to attack when the letters end.
The tone of the letters is aggressive and the fanatic hatred for the teachings of the Prophet show in both The Bishops and The Knights words. They both not only condone but actively plan the slaughter of the Prophet's warriors as well as all civilians attached to him.
All scrolls of this set are located in Syria.
