In the original Tomb Raider, Lara travels to the Andes region of Peru, to seek the ancient town Vilcabamba, which would lead her to the Scion.

In Tomb Raider Legend, Lara first travels to Bolivia to seek of the ruins of Tiwanaku. There she continues her trip to Paraíso, Peru. In the end of the game, she returns to Bolivia.
