The Phenothiazine derivative is a chemical compound found in the a shack that belongs to the old mine in the Soviet Installation in Rise of the Tomb Raider. It is an insecticide that the Gulag guards used to disinfect the prisoners and the buildings.

Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch

In Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch Lara has to create an Antidote devised by Serafima that is effective against the hallucinogenic effects of the Dreaming Blossoms pollen. Amongst other ingredients she needs a Phenothiazine derivative. Nadia helps her by finding and translating the manifest of the old Gulag that stored some Phenothiazine for use against the many insects that plagued the prisoners and guards alike.

Nadia: That chemical from Grandmother's notes... Fen-oh-thigh-uh-zine... I think I've found it. They stored it in the lower levels of the Copper Mill, where they used it to deal with the termites in the summer.

Lara: Are you sure it's the same chemical, Nadia?

Nadia: I'm sure it's the chemical Grandmother's recipe mentioned, but I am not sure that it will be safe to drink.

Lara finally finds a crate near the mines and can successfully recreate Serafima's antidote.

Real Life Use
