Lord Henshingley Croft is the father or Lara Croft and the husband of Andrea Croft.
Life
Falklands War
Lord Croft fought in the Falklands War with the family's bodyguard Hartford Compton.
Compton is much, much more than a Chauffeur, Lara. He's been with me since we served in the Faulklans war.
Tomb Raider: The Series Vol. 1, Issue 2
Besides the fact that the Falklands are misspelled in the comic, the timeline also does not fit. The Falklands war began in 1982, when Lara was already 15 (as, according to the comics biography she was born in 1967). In the comic she appears to be around 8 or 9.
Time as a Business Man
In the 1980s when Lord Croft is know as a successful business man, he and his family are attacked by Irish terrorists , on a business trip to London.
Death
In 1988, when Lara was 21, the Croft family jet crashed in the Himalayas, killing Lord Croft, his wife and Lara's fiancée.
Friends
