Xibalba,roughtly translated as "The place of fear",is the mayan land of the dead. The Mayan calendar only had 360 days and they belived that each year when the five unnamed days arrived,gates to the underworld would open. In the game,this is show to be true,as Lara needs to solve two puzzles involving the mayan calendar to open the entrance to Xibalba. There she finds several trap rooms and Thralls,she also have first contact with the eitr fluid. In the depths of Xibalba lays a symbolic sanctuary representing the battle of Thor and Jormungandr,Lara has to solve this puzzle to get Thor's belt.
