The Anti Mahdists are a group in the first novel The Amulet of Power. Like Lara they are looking for the Amulet of Mareish, which they long to destroy, unlike their opponents, the Mahdists.
Aboard the ship Amenhotep, when travelling on the Nile, three of the Anti Mahdists contact Lara. They decide to work together.
