1672 is a code used in the level Escape with the Iris in Tomb Raider Chronicles. The only way for getting the correct code for the codepad is observing a guard that patrols around the hallway (unless one decides to look it up on a walkthrough).
The code opens a door to a room, where Lara can turn off the X-ray machine, which makes it possible to move freely in the VCI building carrying her HK Gun.
