The Fire Arrows are a special kind of Ammunition for Lara's Bow in Tomb Raider (2013) and Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Tomb Raider (2013)

Fire Arrows can be used to set certain objects or enemies on fire. Fire arrows do more damage than the standard Silent Arrows but they can not be used for silent kills.

Rise of the Tomb Raider

In the continuation of the 2013 reboot, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Fire Arrows make a reappearance. They can be used in a similar fashion as before.

Fire arrows are crafted by holding down the "Craft Special Ammo/Shoot Special Ammo"-button (R1 on PlayStation; RB on Xbox), without aiming first. They can be fired by pressing the "Craft Special Ammo/Shoot Special Ammo"-button while aiming.

Fire arrows are used in fighting enemies but more importantly for burning down Flammable Barriers.

Crafting

The Oil Flask allows creation of FIRE ARROWS. Fire arrows can ignite cloth, explosives and non-armored enemies. Select fire arrows by pressing UP multiple times until the fire icon is shown. Crafting fire arrows required cloth, oil and normal arrows.
