The Collapsing Ceiling serves as a trap in many Tomb Raider Games. In contrast to the Falling Rocks in this case a structure with a ceiling collapses. If Lara is hit by a collapsing ceiling she almost always dies instantly.
Occurrence
Tomb Raider
- In Tomb Raider the collapsible ceiling first appeared in the Tomb of Qualopec and never appeared in the game again.
Tomb Raider II
- The next appearance was in Tomb Raider II at the end of the The Dragon's Lair.
Collapsing ceiling in India.
Tomb Raider III
- In Tomb Raider III Lara will encounter parts that fall from the ceiling in many of the India levels.
- In the swamp section in Tinnos, a lot of parts will fall from the ceiling after Lara picked up one of the Oceanic Masks.
