Shiva is the supreme God in the Shaiva tradition of Hinduism. In the Smartha tradition, he is one of the five primary forms of God.

He plays an important role in Tomb Raider III and Tomb Raider Underworld.

Tomb Raider III

In Tomb Raider III Lara enters the Temple Ruins and encounters a couple of Shiva Statues that come alive and attack her.

Tomb Raider Underworld

In the Coastal Thailand Section of Tomb Raider Underworld a statue of Shiva and Kali formed the basis of a puzzle.

Miscellaneous

There was some concerns at the time of the game release that the use of a Hindu deity as a "baddie" might cause offence to Hindus. [1]

The Tomb Raider Movies came under fire for an alleged disrespect of Shiva and other Hindu deities. [2]
