Zip is an old friend of Laras. He is a computer specialist and helped her getting into the Von Croy Skyscraper in New York in Tomb Raider Chronicles.
He will return in Tomb Raider Legend, where he will support Lara from home, via her headset. In a demo-video we can see or rather head him giving her hints about a Boulder and talk to her about the mission.
He should not be confused with Bryce, who plays this role in the Movies.
