Kraken

The Kraken is a mythical creature found in Norse legends. It appears inTomb Raider Underworld and serves as a blockaid, blocking Lara's path in the Mediterranean level.The creature is invincible using conventional methods To kill it Lara must activate the various cog mechinisms arround the room to release the spiked chandaller-like structure above the creature. It is revealed by Lara that the Kraken is blind and can only hurt Lara when in one of the two spots it can attck with its tenticles, otherwise the Kraken is harmless and serves more of a puzzle than a boss in its self.
