The Scavenger is a character in Tomb Raider (2013). When Lara is stranded on Yamatai, he knocks her over the head and carries her to his den, where he hangs her upside down, tied up in a sack. He is mentally deranged and probably has some kind of ties to the Solarii cult as what he does in his cave seems ritualistic. Lara discovers that he has killed Steph.
