In this mode, you revisit hub spaces with specific target missions. You have the option to play any of the missions readily available or also design your own by using Expedition Cards available in your inventory. If you manage to beat your own mission, it gets uploaded to the community servers so other players can try it as well and compete for the highest score.
Missions remain available for seven days, and the highest scoring player gets a credits reward for winning the mission. The total of credits depends on a number of factors, such as mission difficulty and number of players. The higher the stakes are, the higher is the reward.
