Types of Spike Traps

Single Spiketraps that come shooting out of the ceiling.
Single Spiketraps that come shooting out of the ground.
Single Spiketraps that come shooting out of the walls.
A set of Spikes attached to a moving scaffold coming from the ceiling.
A pit filled with spikes of different sorts.
A rotating spike roll.

  • Simple Spike Trap
There are simple spiketraps where the spikes are obvious. (In most cases Lara can walk through them. Instant death if jumped into. Drains energy when Lara runs through them.)
  • Hidden Spike Trap
There are spike traps where the spikes are hidden and shoot out of the floor when you step onto them. (Always deadly.)
  • Interval Spike Trap
There are spike traps which retract and extend their spikes at certain intervals. (Deadly when extended, else harmless.)
  • Spike Tunnel
There are "tunnels" of spike traps where spikes come out of the floor, ceiling and walls. (Deadly when extended, else harmless.)
