The Hammer is a pickup found in Tomb Raider Chronicles in the level The 13th Floor.
Lara finds it inside a storeroom and can use it to break the lock off of a door in order to progress in the level. This pickup is not mandatory since Lara can get past the door by simply shooting off the lock with her HK gun.
