The real Aleutian Islands that belong to the state of Alaska of the United States, are a chain of a total of 69 volcanic islands: 14 large and 55 smaller ones located in the Bering Sea. The islands form a part of the Aleutian Arc in the nothern Pacific Ocean. [1]
