Square Enix Takeover
Rumours about a takeover of Eidos started surfacing as early as 2004. In 2005 the company was taken over by SCi Entertainment, another British software manufacturer. In this takeover, however, Eidos remaind as a independent part of the now bigger company. Finally, in 2009 SCI was taken over by Square Enix, who subsequently fully integrated the company.
Location
The companies offices were located at Wimbledon Bridge House, 1 Hartfield Road, London SW19 3RU prior to the Square Enix takeover.[1]
